Our years of work with 2SLGBTQIA+ youth between the ages of 14-25 have helped us build knowledge of our communities’ various and ever growing needs.
As such, Project 10 offers educational workshops, speaks on panels, and offers consultations for administrators, teachers, and health and social service workers who interact with youth of diverse sexual and/or gender identities in varying contexts. Some of our workshops include:
Introduction to 2SLGBTQIA+ indentities
Queer media literacy
Histories of queer resistance
Promoting inclusivity
Inclusive language in English and in French
Our workshops tend to focus on activities that aim to share information and resources, bust myths, as well as invite discussion and questions about sexual orientation, gender identity, and the many ways that these can affect many areas of a youth’s life. From 101’s to providing tailored discussion-based content, we can design a workshop to meet your team where it's at.

P10 is proud to partner and work with community organizations, community members, medical professionals, and researchers. The main pillars of our Research and Development department are:
Investigate the barriers queer and trans youth and young adults (ages 14 - 25) face when accessing healthcare and social services, particularly in English.
Streamline navigational support for queer and trans youth and young adults when accessing healthcare and social services.
Empower queer and trans youth and young adults to build self-determination and self-efficacy through empowerment.
Our research mandate is to coordinate external research partnerships and develop internal cross-departmental data gathering systems and protocols. The Research and Development department strengthens Project 10’s commitment to advocacy, education, and harm reduction by ensuring data-driven decision-making and research-informed service delivery. Through ethical data collection, strategic analysis, and partnered and collaborative research, the purpose of the Research and Development department is to identify the needs of 2SLGBTQIA+ youth and young adults (ages 14 - 25) looking to access gender affirming and paramedical care within the Greater Montreal Area.
Prospective research projects and partners are required to review our Research Partnership Checklist before connecting to ensure alignment.
