A crisis can happen when you least expect it. Here are some hotlines which can help you get the immediate support you need.

Tel-jeunes

Tel-jeunes is a confidential bilingual  24 hours/ 7 days a week call, text (8 am-10:30 pm), email, and chat hotline for youth.

They specialize in:

  • sex

  • love

  • mental health and well-being

  • friends and family

  • drugs and alcohol

  • and technology! 

Trans Lifeline

Trans Lifeline is a national trans-led peer support hotline which focuses on direct service, material support, advocacy, and education for trans folks.

The Hotline is available :

10 AM – 6 PM PST / 11 AM – 7 PM MST / 12 PM – 8 PM CST / 1 PM – 9 PM EST (Montreal)

Interligne

Interligne is a 24-hour/day confidential first response centre that provides help and information to those concerned with sexual orientation and gender diversity.

They provide help, information and references by phone and text messaging. 

Tel-Aide Montréal

Tel-Aide Montréal (TAM) is a free, confidential, and anonymous active listening service available 24/7 across Quebec. English-speaking individuals can now access a listening ear anytime, from anywhere in the province.

Aide aux Trans du Québec Listening Line

ATQ is dedicated to providing a free and confidential listening line for individuals seeking a compassionate ear, information, and resources.

ATQ’s volunteers, trained and supported by staff, are here to listen, accompany, and support you by offering a safe space to express your emotions, concerns, and difficulties.

ATQ’s listening and referral service is available from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., 7 days a week.

Please note that the listening and referral line is currently undergoing restructuring, with the goal of improving service coverage and continuing to enhance the quality of support.
